Harm

There is no one left to tell
All the swirling dreams and chimney tops
It will pass
Do us no harm
Honey on our breath
A shot alone to fiddle
All treats will pass
We take our last breath
Like a call in the night
A shot across an empty sky
Honey on our lips
We are all alone
No one left to tell
We dream a thousand dreams
Wait until morning
When the rain will come and wash away our harms.

  1. I love "all the swirling dreams and chimney tops", and the dreaming of a thousand dreams. It is always good when the rain washes away the harms.

  3. No-one left to tell – except the world of poets, listening hard and eagerly through the walls and the rain.

  4. Please let it be so that the rain will wash away all your harms. I quite like the style you have developed here Jae.

  12. The repeat of "there is no one left to tell" just really reinforces the feeling of isolation and powerlessness in the face of the elements.

One cannot expect prayers to be answered fast. Immediate results may come to those deserving and in real need
