Scream

We scream the body electric
The wind blows the curtains
We drink sweet tea
All about us is lost at sea
We drown the powder with flapjacks and honey
Ice cream powder and glue
We scream the body electric.

  1. "Drink sweet tea...lost at sea," yes, I love this collection of words...i agree, sometimes it does feel like we are lost at sea, only to find we are right where we left us.

  2. The wind, the sweet tea, the flapjacks, all helping to stifle the scream. Sending you some sunshine and wavesong across the sea, my friend.

  10. At least the narrator was well fed throughout his/her episode of anxiety Jae, so hopefully they remain well and feeling replete... much as I am after finishing dinner!

  11. Very nice! That powder, anyway you can get it down is good. "Ice cream powder and glue" what a combo!

  12. Flapjacks and honey might be just the antidote for loss, but a scream might be too.
