We are discovering treasures
There is no map
No black line
On a white page
Like a ship
We sail at dawn
Wrap warm sheets
Around our frozen bodies
We remember everything
But cannot let the memories
Unspool us
We will play
In tangerine dreams
Laugh and dance
All giddy and free
Relinquish our sanity
Just for one moment
Lonely as a whale
Crossing the oceans
We are on a treasure hunt
And it feels as warm
As the sun.
