Starting Over

We are starting over
Dust down our shoes
Walk in circles
Wait for the powder to come
Two tiny heart beats
Water down our throat
We watch the phone
Wait for it to ring
It never does
Walk in circles
Dust down our shoes
A new dawn is breaking
Light pours in the window
Blue trees and angel hair
It is a new year
Christmas time and bells
We are starting over
Stomp in puddles
Guzzle down stars
It's all so easy
All so hard
Walk in circles
Dust down our shoes
All is quiet
All is well
We sing a song in our head
Listen for his voice
It fades in the wind
But we know he is still there
We will walk in circles today
Starting over
Being free.
