Silence

Alice shakes the keys
They jangle like bones in the night
All around us is silence
But it is so loud
We cover our ears and tuck under the sheets
A wise soul gave us colour
But we stick to black and white
We will make our mark
Count out our time
Click the seconds
Turn them into minutes and hours
Alice shakes the keys
They jangle like bones in the night.
